Glenn E Tirb

MANCHESTER: Glenn E Tirb, 69, of Manchester, died Dec. 20, 1998, at the
Chelsea Community Hospital. 

He was born June 9, 1929, in Manchester, the son of Edward and Dorothy
(Cornell) Tirb. He graduated in 1948 from Clinton High School and
retired from Tecumseh Products Company in 1976. 

Glenn is survived by three sons, Randy Tirb of Highland, Calif., Glenn
E. (Dawn) Tirb Jr. of St. Paul, Neb., and Richard S. Tirb of Fort Wayne,
Ind.; one daughter, Glennda Davis of Carrolton, Texas; one stepson,
David (Sara) Brooks of Ocilla, Ga.; one brother, Francis (Mary) Tirb of
Miami, Fla.; three sisters, Beverly Beerbower of Inkster, Marjorie
Patterson of Manchester and Betty Patterson of Tecumseh; 15
grandchildren and five great-grandsons. He was preceded in death by his
parents and one sister, Ruth Snyder. 

A memorial services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 10, 1999, at
the Clinton United Church of Christ, with the Rev. Martha Chenault
officiating. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Clinton. Arrangements
are by the Purse Funeral Home, Tecumseh.
